Instructions

Learn how to use our dies with the Grand Calibur!

Step 1. Paint canvas with blue paint, let dry.

Step 2: Paint canvas with black paint, let dry.

Step 3: Sand the edges of the canvas with the Groove Tool using the coarse sanding tip. This will distress the edges lightly and reveal the blue undercoat to varying degrees depending on how much you sand the surface.

Step 4: Trim a piece of patterned paper from the Perched pad to 11” x 11”.

Step 5. Trim 2 pieces of patterned paper from the Perched pad to 10” x 10”.

Step 6: Layer the 3 pieces of patterned papers together, using the example for placement and adhere together.

Step 7. Use a sewing machine to stitch around the edge of the top paper, using the edge of the paper as a stitching guide.

Step 8: Adhere to center of canvas.

Step 9: Mat photo on teal cardstock from the Pastel Basics Paper pad. Attach to canvas with foam tape.

Step 10: Ink Family and History and the birds from the Wedding Icon sticker pack with brown ink. Attach to canvas as shown in the example.
