Step 1: Paint Artminds Tall Wood Birdhouse with white spray paint. Let dry.
Step 2: Paint roof with brown paint. Let dry.
Step 3: Cut two pieces of paper from American Crafts “Maggie Holmes” 12X 12 Paper Pad to 3 ¾” X 4” and glue to sides with Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry Glue.
Step 4: Transfer equal parts of Art-C “Red,” “Blue,” “Yellow” Molding Paste with a palette knife onto a paper plate and mix to create brown. Lighten by adding “White” Molding Paste. Create roof “shingles” by applying Molding Paste to one side of the roof with fingers, one row at a time, beginning at the bottom. Let dry Completely. Repeat other side. Let dry completely.
Step 5: Die cut cardstock from American Crafts “Maggie Holmes” 12X 12 Paper Pad and coordinating Bazzill Basics Cardstock with Sizzix Big Kick Die Cutting Machine and Sizzix “Flower Layers & Leaves” Die by Dena Designs. Shape petals and leaves to create five flowers.
Step 6: Assemble flowers by attaching layers together with Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry Glue. Finish flowers with Recollections Adhesive Rhinestones.
Step 7: Cut two ¾” X 3 ½” strips of patterned cardstock from American Crafts “Maggie Holmes” 12 X 12 Paper Pad. Notch one end of each to create two separate flags.
Step 8: Attach flowers, leaves and flags to birdhouse with Beacon Adhesive Zip Dry Glue.
Step 9: Finish by attaching bird from K & Company “SW Botanical Robin” Grand Adhesions to birdhouse perch.#23879 Art-C Primary Molding Paste
